A week ago, my boyfriend Cal and I went for a short camping trip to the Oregon coast. We chose to stay at the Nehalem Bay State Park. It’s a really lovely place located right on the spit of land that blocks in the bay.
We got a site close to the ocean so we could hear it during our stay. Oh how I love that sound. So soothing.
We ended up going for a walk on the beach just before the sunset. It was that golden hour of light.
I love the textures of the beach, there is always so much to see and absorb. It’s one of my favorite places to spend time.
As we were waiting for the sun to set, we had to hide from the wind. Nothing is worse than sand in the eyes.
It wasn’t a very colorful sunset but we had a nice time anyway. So we headed back to camp to make a fire and warm up!
