it’s double time!

Hello friends, new and old!

My friend Steph Parke and I have been working on a small project for the last month or so and we are really excited to share it with you today.

We’ve been working on a double exposure project. We each started with two rolls of film (me with color, her with black & white). I shot mine, she shot hers and then we swapped and shot each other’s rolls.

It was an interesting mindset for me… to think this shot will have something else over it/in it and I don’t know what that will be. It was an exercise in attempting to plan for the unexpected.

The wonderful thing is we got some really cool shots so far. I’ve included a handful of my favorites here but you should go check out all of them on our new blog, doubles.

We have more rolls in process and will be continuing the project. I would love to hear if you have a favorite (or two).

Enjoy! And stay tuned!
